NOTICE TO BIDDERS: B5-25 OLD SCHOOL BUILDING DEMOLITION PROJECT
Project is to completely remove the existing single-story old building at Floradale Avenue next to Bid E Produce. Building is approximately 3,000 square feet, wood-framed structure with wood siding on a raised foundation. Scope includes removal of all surface and foundation improvements within 5 feet of the building footprint. Hazardous material abatement is necessary, and the test results will be presented at the mandatory pre-bid conference. After demolition and foundation removal, the site is to be re-graded to match adjacent grades.

A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on Wednesday, August 28, at 10:00 a.m. sharp, meeting at the parking lot of the old school building located at Floradale Avenue, Lompoc, CA, 93436, next to Big E Produce. The pre-bid conference and site visit is expected to take approximately thirty minutes. Failure to attend will render bid ineligible.
Questions must be submitted in writing/email (purchasingteam@lusd.org) by September 3, 2024, 5:00PM. Questions and Answers will be posted on the District website https://www.lusd.org/departments/purchasing-services by the end of the day on September 5, 2024.
